Social Behavior
Our aim is a safe, secure environment for all our canine guests. With that in mind, excessive barking, aggression or anti social behavior by any dog cannot be allowed for the comfort of other doggy guests and for the sake of our family life and that of our neighbors.
Owners undertake to declare any history of medical or behaviour problems that could reoccur while boarding and to draw attention to any potential problems, phobias (or vices!) their dogs may have. The more we know about your dog, the more settled we can make them.

Being away from home can be stressful for dogs and they may demonstrate unusual or out of character behavior. If, for any reason, we are concerned about your dog's behavior, we will play with and walk him separately to the other boarders.
We do not accept female dogs that are in heat or due to go into heat. We also do not accept intact adult males (not castrated). We welcome puppies (over 6 months of age) that can settle at night in their room happily.

All dogs must stay overnight at least once before boarding arrangements can be confirmed. We appreciate that leaving your dog in the care of someone else may cause some level of worry for both you and your dog so we feel this is an important step in ensuring that you and your dog are completely happy before a longer booking takes place. It also allows us an opportunity to assess the suitability of your dog to board at Happy Dogs Aigle. The overnight trial can be arranged at your convenience (Monday-Friday) outside peak holiday times and is charged at usual boarding rates. The trial is from a pre-arranged time in the afternoon until the following morning.
If the trial stay does not go well we are always happy to suggest alternative care options to help you find the best solution for your dog.
